SpamCop
Lists addresses people recently reported for sending spam.
About SpamCop →Is your email going to spam because your mail server is blacklisted? Type your domain and we find your mail servers and ask public spam blocklists whether they are listed, in plain English. Or type a server's IP address. No signup, and we keep no record.
We check SpamCop, PSBL and DroneBL. We keep no record of what you check.
Finding your mail servers and asking the blocklists…
Mail providers ask lists like these before accepting a message. We use only lists whose rules allow a free public tool to ask them.
Lists addresses people recently reported for sending spam.
About SpamCop →Lists addresses that sent mail to spam traps.
About PSBL →Lists hacked machines, open proxies and sources of attacks.
About DroneBL →Spamhaus refuses questions sent through public DNS services and needs an account for a tool like this, so it is not checked here.
Check Spamhaus yourself →Barracuda only answers servers that have registered with it first, so it is not checked here.
Check Barracuda yourself →Mail also lands in spam when the domain has no SPF, DKIM or DMARC records. The domain checker grades those.
Check Your Domain Free →The check runs on our server. It looks up your domain's mail servers and asks each blocklist about their addresses, through Cloudflare's public DNS resolver. The blocklists see the mail server's address, never anything about you.
We keep no record of what you check, and nothing about you. Our own analytics count that a check happened and its overall result, never the domain. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
It is free and there is no signup. You do not enter an email address.
SpamCop, PSBL and DroneBL. We only use lists whose rules allow a free public tool like this one to ask them, and that answer through the public DNS service we use. Spamhaus and Barracuda, two of the biggest, require an account or a registered server for this, so they are not checked here. A clear result here does not mean you are clear on those.
The list did not give a real answer: it was busy, refused the question or returned an error code. We never count that as listed, and we never count it as clear either.
A listing usually means mail from that server was reported as spam, or a machine on it was hacked. Find out why first: a hacked account or website sending spam will get you listed again straight after removal. Each list has its own removal page, linked above.
No. We keep no record of the domain or address and nothing about you. The question goes from our server through Cloudflare's public DNS resolver to each blocklist, which sees the mail server's address. Our own analytics count that a check happened and its overall result, never the domain.
DNS and email security is part of the Security Review. We find why your mail is distrusted, fix it in stages so nothing breaks, and check again with you at the end.
